It’s important to note that Corona Virus cases have continued to drop across the country, the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise. In fact, it means there is a lot more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. In the Capitol, officials have in fact lifted all capacity and other restrictions on June 11. Moreover, with July 4th literally, almost here, it is the time to find out what the Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on.

Fireworks on the National Mall

• Event: Fireworks on the National Mall will feature a 17-minute display.
• Date: July 4th
• Time: 9:09 p.m.
• Location: Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool
• Cost: Free
• Conditions: Moreover, The National Park Service said that it is consistent with Centers for Disease Control guidelines. In fact, The people who are not fully vaccinated must wear masks indoors and in crowded outdoor spaces on the National Mall. Moreover, masks are, in fact, required for everyone on all forms of public transportation. However, all the memorials, except the Washington Monument, will be open. Therefore, people visiting the National Mall for the fireworks should practice social or physical distancing. In fact, stay at least six feet away from others who are not a member of your household, according to the NPS.

41st Annual Capitol Fourth Concert

• Event: 41st Annual Capitol Fourth Concert – This program will be on PBS will be pre-recorded, with singer and actress Vanessa Williams serving as host of the event from D.C. However, the festive and entertaining concert will include pre-recorded performances by Jimmy Buffett, Gladys Knight, Alan Jackson, Jennifer Nettles, and Renée Fleming.

55th Annual Palisades Parade and Picnic
