Truck parking has been a problem for years and it seems to be only getting worse. Many truck drivers regularly have difficulty finding a parking space, especially in California and the Northeastern states. High traffic on the Northeast along with congestion in dense metropolitan areas have resulted in many of those states being in top 20 worst states for truck parking.

The ranking is based on federal studies and surveys on major trucking websites.
